This post makes me so happy to see! I love when people actually drive these cars, iv had just about enough of the people at cars and coffee that act like the car is ruined when it hasn't been washed neurotically before and after each drive. Im so glad you had the opportunity to get to know your car in this capacity. These GT3s are feats of engineering, and are meant to be driven. In my experience it seems like the cars enjoy it too. These are the memories that make it all worth it. Im sure the picture of the bugs and the salt on the side are just about enough to throw some people off the edge of a cliff, but I love it!

Cool trip! Need to do this again soon!!! I switched to MPSS since I found MPSC2 scary in cold+wet conditions. How do Alpins compare to MPSS in your view, if you've tried both?

Beautiful car, beautiful photos! I find driving my 991 gt3 on long trips a pleasure, one of the reasons I love this car. Take long trips to the track in comfort. I have significant back issues and find the buckets the most comfortable supportive seat I have yet experienced. Only challenge is getting out of them. Now driving the 997 RS on a long trip was somewhat challenging.

Well done!

Looks like a seasucker roof bike mount?

Great composition to give us the best visual flavors of your trip!

Where are the beginning dc pics? Besides that how many states did you hit? Thinking about doing the same from dc area driving up 95 all the way to the tip of Maine and back.

That's my home hill- Mt. Hood- I figured yours was in New Mexico- looks like dry snow.

Such an epic adventure! Re headphones- Bose Noise cancelling earbuds- you'll thank me latter.
