I did the seasucker route as well.
Shipped my bike down to a shop, picked it up and did 2 days of cycling to break up the seat time.
Dropped bike off at next town along with seasucker and mailed it back to myself.
Wish I had snow around the SE on that trip, that would have been a trifecta.

San Bernadino National Forest and Mount San Jacinto. Rain and heavy fog, but great mountain roads.
Also took a page from Matt Hummel's page and went exploring a bit off the beaten path. Michelin Alpins provide great grip on sand, too.

One of 15 Lockheed A-12s built for the CIA. Operational 1963-68. By '68, its successor, the SR-71 Blackbird was flying. This is one

So cool! I might retrace your SoCal trip this summer to visit family and friends- Wilhoit cars look amazing!
