When ever i see a bald eagle i always think about a show on the discovery channel, it showed some footage of a town in Alaska where there are hundreds of bald eagles in a few square miles. They are a complete menace to the town and act basically like aggressive pigeons. Always gives me a good laugh....

I'm not sure where the OP's original photo was taken, but this is the time of year when hundreds of bald eagles migrate from the western US to the Midwest. The epicenter is around Alton, Illinois, just north of St. Louis along the Mississippi and Illinois Rivers. It's quite a sight.
