Default Pics of RS with silver wheels?

Hi All,
I got a message from my dealer the other day that I need to go in and finalise my spec for an RS (seems Switzerland at least is certainly getting some more..). I'm struggling with choices but wheel-wise I'm not keen on black, have platinum at the moment. and am intruiged by silver. I think that silver could be an interesting choice and give a bit more of a classic feel to things. It seems to have a gloss finish as well as opposed to the satin finish on black/platinum.

Anyone got any good pics of RS with these silver wheels? I'd like to see how they look with different colours.. I'm between red/silver/lizard at the moment. But then maybe black..? Aargh..

If you want them to stay Silver you should go with PCCBs

Yes, silver wheels will be black with steel brakes. Go pccb if you select silver wheels.

Silver wheels look good when they are clean.

I know that you are leaning to silver but I was at my dealership today and there was a RS being delivered with GT Silver and Black wheels and it looks amazing. I have also seen White with Gold and Chalk with Black. In full disclosure, I took the path of least resistance and went LG with Black and PCCB.

Based on the cars i have seen up close, i don't thing there is a bad combination, however i would say PCCB looks great with silver

My red .1 has silver wheels and steel brakes. I think it looks fantastic. YMMV.

Here are silver HRE R101 LW on my RS. Love them as they really brighten up the car over the black wheels.

Thanks all - interesting. I like the way they look on the UV and MB cars - maybe as they bring contrast to the less bright colours..

I've seen this car in real life - it did look good.. I remember thinking it made the wheels look huge (they are, but maybe darker colours hide that..).

@WantA997 - your car looks cool - and red/black were the combinations I was looking for decent pics of - do you have any more of your car by chance?

Thank you. I'm not much of a photo taker, but here's a couple below. One thing to note is my car is not Guards Red, it's a few shades lighter (and bordering on orange in certain lighting). My friend's .2 with gold wheels is, however, Guards Red.
