I've seen several ultraviolet with silver, like this one. (side note - this car was 206K before the price drop to 188K, for a delivery miles only car....)

The high production on all GT variants will make these cars quite great buys in several years, if you could not acquire one new for one reason or another.

These cars will generally be babied due to the relatively high cost for a track focused car and if you can afford one in a couple years with less than 10K miles on the clock, you did very well acquiring a nice toy...........I was advised early by several Porsche loyalists on that buying a CPO Porsche is the way to go and you will save what is real money - made sense to me............especially when the ADM game is gone on these current cars.

You also then have a car, maybe 3 to 4 years old with a lower rate of depreciation curve..........

Great taste.........Less filling

I like RY with big reds. I can't stand SY calipers on RY car; like nails on a chalk board for me. I wish they'd update the their caliper colors when the update their paint color palette.

Obviously i like black on it. I could also do silver but the gold is what I think is hardest to pull off with RY.

My thoughts exactly.. I'm trying to find a colour combo which works nicely, shows off the beautiful wheels (i.e. not black) , and is maybe a little less common.

The gt3 w/silver looks awesome. And I'll concede; only way I'd do silver is with PCCB's.

I think the 3 looks better than the 3rs with silver. SO much black on the RS esp if WP. I think the black just goes with the RS. But i do love those silver on the 3.

One more yellow for fun, but this one looks like a PTS job rather than RL.. Nice colour actually - I wonder what it is. Doesn't look like Signal.

Silver wheels back. Things always come full circle

Plus- with all the new innovative wheel designs these days the only way to really appreciate/enjoy them is with lighter colored wheels.

Do really like White Gold still but the Satin Platinum finish a Keeper

I think that silver could be an interesting choice and give a bit more of a classic feel to things. It seems to have a gloss finish as well as opposed to the satin finish on black/platinum.

Anyone got any good pics of RS with these silver wheels? I'd like to see how they look with different colours.. I'm between red/silver/lizard at the moment. But then maybe black..? Aargh..

Hi Dave, have you been told about a 20 PS reduction in the power now that the particulate filter has been added to the second batch of GT3 RS for Europe? A friend of mine was lucky enough to get an allocation for a Summer 2019 delivery of a GT3 RS. He’s living in Munich so certainly the German 2nd batch is coming through but the cars will be 500 ps he’s been told by the dealer to check if he still wants to proceed. I’m guessing there must be an impact of a little additional weight too and perhaps a change to the sound. Is your car also impacted by this? Do you have any further insight I can share with my friend as not a lot of details are coming through to him other than the 20 PS less being a certainty apparently.

My dealer is being very cagey about the whole thing. I’d not heard of a 20PS reduction, actually the opposite and power would be the same.

What was interesting was that I pushed to get my EUR adjustment value updated, and she said that it wouldn’t matter as when the allocations came through a new contract would be required. This does imply that some fundamental change is taking place. I suppose it could be as insignificant as 6d-temp compliance instead of 6c, but could also mean things like power (or price :-o) could change. She said they would only know in March. I wonder if there will be details at the press conferences at Geneva show?

Interesting pic from another thread.. quite surprising to me how much of an optical illusion the silver wheels make so they look a lot bigger..

Would you still proceed if it was 20 ps less? Perhaps it’s the German dealer preparing my friend for the worst possibility without really knowing how things might turn out.

Anyone else on the forum with an allocation for a second batch GT3 RS in the EU been told the same?
