Dundon Race Headers on 991.1 GT3
Just installed a set of Dundon race headers on my 991.1 GT3. Easy install. Didn't remove the rear bumper or center muffler. Did remove the rear wheels. Every thing lined up. There was no pushing, pulling or beating required during the installation.
The first thing I noticed was the aggravating drone in the stock system in the 3200-3700 range was gone. Next up the increased pull. It is apparent. And then there is the sound. Absolutely amazing on the run to 9k. Equally amazing was driving around town with no noticeable increase in sound level. No problems with conversations. I put about 100 miles on the headers today and I haven't had any CELs.
I had Dundon headers on my GT4 and I can't imagine putting anything else on my next car.

Another satisfied Dundon customer. Then again, the Dundon in your GT4 was epic sounding.
I, too, had the full Dundon install done Fri on .1 RS. First Dundon set up; headers, side deletes, lifetime center section. Wow! Does it sound great. You can drive around with PSE button off and it is just slightly louder than stock. Engage PSE and under load .... BAM! She lets you know your driving something special.
This exhaust is a transplant from PT3's .1 RS and I can remember clearly how loud it was on that car. I do like loud and no drone.

Awesome, Alan. How would you rate the power increase?

Rob, The car feels much better in the 4000 - 5500 range. The dip is gone. The run through 3rd gear is a blast. The pull from 6000 - 8500 is noticeably improved . Had I added these to my previous '15' I most likely would not have traded for the GT4. However, the GT4 with Dundon race headers and TPC DSC was a special combination. I had a lot of fun in that car.

We only love once my friend!...I just splurged on an Akrapovic slip on that I found in the marketplace. Debating on combining with the Dundon again just like my gt4.
Alan- does the Dundon Gt3 header remove the side mufflers? Looks like it from the pictures I see.

Meaker, Dundon has a catted set along with two muffler choices. I believe Dundon is working on a solution to the CEL issue.

love the results Alan. When the ECU adapts to the headers it will run even better than it is now. Glad the ride down the strip helped you know what you were getting before you bought them.
