Yikes! That does seem odd. As we all know very well, Porsche let's us spend gobs of money to configure cars the way we like; a good thing. The individuality and exclusivity is part of the play. And, if you plan to keep the car for a long time or forever, go with what makes you happy. However, if you think you'll trade in a few years or ever, you can't expect any dealer to give you a good trade in on a car they'll probably have a tough time selling and making any money on it.

My dealer has a saying that goes along the lines of l, you can configure it that way, but you do realize this will be your car. Although they do provide honest advice and make strong suggestions to configure it differently for those that want to build a lava orange RS with red gauges and red belts.
