So, the heater is 1500W max which is 12.5A at 120V. If you run on Medium, current draw is much lower and should give enough heat for tires (but you can experiment - Home Depot allows you to return if not) and allow you to run the other gear too.

My garage circuit breaker is really sensitive (my air compressor triggers it easily), but never have a problem with a pair of heaters on Medium.

I turn on High when working in garage and not running much other gear.

My garage is currently 47.2F and it's 29F outside...

Thanks for the tip and input! I've ordered one, will pick up tomorrow and put it to work.

I am thinking medium would work. Though I can test and trip a breaker.

Will report back!

Good luck

If I remember, you need to make sure the oil settles before using (read instructions- don’t remember exactly)...

I don't have the instructions yet. And it will be the guy who's driving the transporter that has to do the unloading because of insurance. I'm hoping that he knows all this so that he doesn't make something stupid. It's the same company that our local Porsche dealer uses when they transport cars and according to them they always treats the cars with respect. So, keeping my fingers crossed!

If anyone has the instructions I would be very happy to know them. That way I can at least tell the driver what to do.

Btw, it seems as the weather forecast has changed to the better! Now it says that it will be around 22F.

Ok, the driver called me so I told him about my concerns of not warming up the engine. We agreed that he's going to start the engine when unloading at the place before me. That means that it will have been running for 15-30 min when unloading at my place.

I was talking about the oil in the radiator style space heater, not the car...

Get 8 people to help you. Tell Four of them to bring blow dryers and a portable generator. They will be able to heat the exterior of the tires. Tell the other 4 people to bring air compressors. They can plug into the same generators. Remove 10psi of air pressure in the tires and then refill with 10psi. Release and repeat 10 times. The tires will now be nice and warm for the excursion.

If you are amp-challenged, there's this:

I keep the garage anywhere between 9-12 Celsius (48-54F) regardless outside temps all winter.
