i had this happen on my touring that is awaiting pickup a the moment. i had a CXX shifter with the carbon top (most notably from the R, although my moms targa shifter is carbon topped..) my car has black stitching through out the entire thing and the shifter was stitched in red. go figure that folks assembling the car would think anyone would have wanted that on purpose hah.. but like mentioned here the dealer did not enter it correctly probably, and in the end they fixed it quickly as it was just the shift boot and black thread... more common than your yellow dash pieces.

Why base Xeon lights ?
Looks out of place since the wheels and plastic bits are black. IMHO The PDLS Black headlights would look better.
Enjoy

Correct. In the context in which we are discussing "deviated" stitching (ie, selecting a color that is specifically different from the standard option) the normal stitching is not deviated.

The below posters be mistaken.

Porsche can call it anything they want. A post was made referencing how deviated stitching is like true religion jeans. I'm making a point that his analogy applies to the standard stitching as well, which is deviated from the color of the seats. You can call a frog a bird all day long but it's still a frog. You can call the silver stitching standard, but it is deviated from the seats and pops out whether silver, yellow, green, or red. I was not wrong. I can show you 4 black swatches and 1 silver, ask you which one is a deviation from the rest and I'll bet every penny I have you'll choose the silver. ???♂

I’ll take it and you can have my 3RS with perfect stitching when it arrives next month, everyone’s happy.

Whoa!! No way!! What happens to your current 2RS? Do they just take it back and swallow the depreciation from the title + cosmetic issue?

SoB!!!! That doesn’t look like such an easy fix...as the OP’s. Wouldn’t you think someone at the factory would ask the obvious question????

I noticed no steering column in leather. Is there anything else wrong?

I saw a GT3 RS arrive with white stitch at the edge of the windshield and no deviated stitching elsewhere. Stuff happens; It's a parts exchange.

Look at the vent stitching vs the dash

I personally would take a GT3 RS over a GT2 RS and buy another car with the $100k.
With that being said, the GT2 RS is still awesome, but make sure you are buying it because you truly want it, not because it’s at MSRP.
