Actually in the true sense "deviated" is just "different"....so default is deviated in color from the black leather/ vinyl....in Porsche world "deviated" is different than platinum stitching.....

The posters who mentioned how critical it is for the salesperson to understand the complexity of ordering deviated stitching are spot on....most don't fully understand it and your bad experience lies at their feet.
10000% correct. We. are dealing with Service/PCNA/ and CXX. It will be at least 3m months I have to ride around with this pig vomit!!

I can relate to OP. When my car arrived the CXX side decals were not even close to the colour combination i had worked out with and had approved by PAG.

It is a buzz kill of first world magnitude... but still a buzz kill on delivery.
My dealer and Porsche made good by offering a full credit and also a generous credit coupon towards "anything Porsche".

Sorry for your frustration. If you are in a part of the country where the weather allows, go book yourself some track days. Your racing pulse will help you quickly forget about the stitching and remember what a special car you have

By definition if the stitching is a different color than the actual seats it is a deviated color Porsche can call it anything they want but it is deviated from the seat color , Literally technically and by definition

This certainly is not correct by any measure.

This wouldn't have ever happened if you would have left the stitching alone. haha

lol good to lighten the mood here.

I’ve seen this same issue in a number of threads and being im so OCD i had to have 100% confirmation everything was ordered correctly, I’m pretty sure my sales rep hates me now but so be it when you’re spending $300k haha. With that said there is no reason the customer should have to press so hard to have an order completed to their expectations. Clearly PCNA needs to provide significantly more dealer/sales education. I’ve posted this picture before but I’ll post again. If your optioning XVX (deviated stitching) your order sheet needs to look like this. Clearly what happened here was “dash trim package”/CZW was never defined as racing yellow and remained the default platinum stitching even though option XVX was (correctly) defined as “Racing yellow”.

Man... makes me happy with my apparently rare non-CXX/non-PTS GT car! Sometimes less can be more. Sorry to hear OP and hopefully PAG comes through with the fix soon

A bit dramatic - beautiful car. It will be rectified. It will take a few months. Life goes on. Keep perspective and Appreciate the fact that you have an amazing car.

Mistakes happen and this is not a HUGE one in the grand scheme of things.
