Congrats on the car. Small problem in the grand scheme of things. If this is your biggest problem of the day, life is good.

I saw the same problem here about 5 months ago. I have a MB 3RS coming in about 4-6 weeks with yellow stitching as well. We specifically described that all stitching needed to be yellow including the leather dash and all panels. No white stitching anywhere. We also asked for cxxx for yellow pull door straps. It was all accepted. Now we will see if they get it right. Will report later. Like others said here, you have to spell it out in detail on your order. I can't believe that they would even send out a car that had two different colors of stitching, but apparently, that is too much common sense!

Sux that is happened, but sadly we have seen this occur numerous times and documented here prior. As has been stated, dealership fault given the text handling. Hence why the Monroney is so long for cars with the extended deviated stitching - everything is listed line item by line item.

I had to go through mine with a fine comb, all the way down to the stitching on the optional leather key fob - which too had to be manually text entered by the GM no less and sent to Exclusive.

So dealership (or perhaps Rstrada) will fix it. Won't be able to change the Monroney, but shouldn't really matter - first world problem

The car is ruined. I'm offering MSRP -25k to make your problem go away.

Judging by the messages I got to not accept the car at all, I'd say you are in the minority and I handled this pretty well!! Sorry bro, but I work hard for everything I earned and at this level yes I expect it to be perfect. Fix is likely over 3 months to get the pieces properly. Not acceptable. Yes soldiers are dying in Syria and and Iraq but in our microcosm, you expect a certain level for a product long worked for and paid for!!

Car looks amazing - sorry for the issues with the stitching that is a buzz kill. Chasing MB2s is hard work and you deserve the best. I would be disappointed too. Enjoy in good health!

Thanks. I can only imagine if the quality of work here was equivalent to the way I practice Endo! I expect perfection in EVERY case I treat. Is that possible? No, but I certainly try and would never expect an analogous result in my field!!

RS looks incredible! Sorry this happened to you. I'd be upset as well. This should not be an issue on any car, let alone a > $200k example. As someone else mentioned, I believe it happened to someone here in Atlanta and further believe it turned out well in the end.

Congrats on the beast. Love the color combo. Do not let this issue spoil you from enjoying your car. It will all get resolved but in the interim- just enjoy it. **** happens all the time and it is how you handle these obstacles that life throws at you that makes the difference. It looks like you are taking this in good stride.

Enjoy

They replaced a door panel in my old 458. After 3 tries the stitching never matched. I learned to ignore it and laugh at my OCD ness. Perfection rarely exists.
