I misunderstood the thread title. I wouldn't have read it all if the title had've been hyphenated. I was left looking for references for the *** Dealer that was being Greedy.

There are a lot of dealers who are enthusiasts—real ones who race, drive, and, yes, collect the cars. CJ is one, but there are so, so many more. It isn't unusual to see them exercise their option to buy a special model—whether it's the "latest greatest" or a bookend on a collection of Speedsters, RSs, etc. Should they do that ahead of their own customers? I don't know, but I think it's generally a very good thing for the hobby that dealership owners are often enthusiasts. I'd far rather have that than faceless corporate ownership when it comes to dealer input on new models in Germany and elsewhere…

Billy, I get your point, but if it makes you feel any better, I don't think there was much desire for this car. I was told they would make more than 5 if there was demand when I spoke with PMNA, and as it was, they had trouble selling these. Not sure the purpose of them either, they have no home in SRO or PCA, so basically a kick **** DE car. For that money, I want something I can race in too. There are more custom cars coming out of PMNA if you want one!

WRONG - Mine will be at NOLA here Feb 2nd, and I got it to track it.

That is correct.

If at the end there were less than ten ordered, which it sounds like may be the case, the dealer didn't prevent anyone from getting one. If the dealership owner bought two he didn't do anything any of the rest of us didn't have the same opportunity to do, at least as of 10/22/18. With respect, in this case, I do think you are thinking about this wrong. It's not a case of hundreds of customers orders unfilled while a greedy dealer keeps precious allocations for himself. He just bought the cars like any one else could have.

Also Correct.

For the Record. There are 2 Blue ones and 4 White ones. I have car 002. These things are sweet, and I will definitely enjoy mine for many years to come.

The real take-away from this exercise is that, with the exception of a few stand-up dealers, PMNA should take over distribution of all GT cars in the U.S.....
