I believe this piece is a straight swap onto both .1 & .2 3RS?

I didn't take measurements on each with that in mind, but I am fairly certain they will mount identically. When I get in tomorrow I will look for any clear indicators that they mount differently. I don't have a GT2RS in right now but we do have a few 3RS's and the hardware mounting points will tell the tale.

Few months ago I saw a car at the dealership who did this swap. According to the SA, the owner was complaining wasn't an exact fit and there was some gap. Few other things to consider, the vents/fans on the underside have different arrangement, so you might be affecting cooling (for better or worse) or at the least more drag with the additional scoops that the 2RS has. Also remember reading some review where it said the 3RS makes more DF because of the engine lid being more aerodynamic. And last but not least, remember SA saying it was a ~$20k part.
