Default Opinion on GT3 build and price

Hello all I’m considering purchasing my first GT3, and it’s from a friend. It’s lightly tracked, has 4K miles, 184k MSRP. He’s asking 179.

My questions:
  1. Fair price?
  2. it has one over rev for .5 seconds and 200 rpm. Big deal?
  3. anything to look out for?
I trust my friend, just worried about the high MSRP and it’s impact to resale value, and curious about the over rev.

Thank you you all for your help with this buying decision.

If you're worried about resale value, don't get the car. Otherwise, seems like a fair deal.

if it is a range one, it’s easy to do if you hit the rev limiter. No big deal.

Sounds like a very nice car. Appears to be a decent price in today's market and it's a plus since you know the owner.

Don’t worry about the msrp. Specs are good.
Lightly tracked so PCCB should still be very good.
If the asking price is okay with you I would buy it. Range 1 over rev absolutely nothing to worry about.

It will be around 10 to 12% off MSRP if he sells it back to the dealership. Based on this, you decide what is fair between you and your friend (he might know this already).

I agree with Kyrocks. Under MSRP and known history is solid.

^AGREED TOO , go for it unless you
are concerned about resale value
pricey build with alot of fluff , that will deprecate , in which case get 15 for 50k less and motor still has warranty
