Default 991.2 GT3 manual transmission or clutch sound

Hey guys, not sure if this is normal or not but when I am creeping forward in first gear or slowly reversing, if I push the clutch pedal down and the car is moving there's a brief click or rocking sound from the bottom middle of the car right behind my ears. Lasts very brief and only when I'm at low speed. Does not happen when I'm driving and shifting. Is that normal? I imagine it's just that the flywheel is still spinning when I'm pushing the clutch pedal down? Does not happen when car is at stand still.

Mine makes a funny sound too at very low speeds. But not sure if it is the same sound.

Does it occur when you're in first or reverse gear and feathering the clutch like to park and every time you depress the clutch while the car is slowly moving, there's a brief click or rocking sound coming from the transmission tunnel? Doesn't sound like grinding

There is a recent thread that speaks about this.. I believe it's the rear brake pads.. normal from most accounts.
Best to try a search for more details.

I don't think OP is talking about the clack/click sound from the brakes. When just inching forward in first, if you push clutch in all the way you'll get a weird sort of feathering/stuttering sound. It's not loud. But yeah, I think it's just the flywheel continuing to spin. My friend's manual GT3 does the same thing. I wouldn't worry about it.

If the steering wheel is turned, it could be the LSD (doesn't make any noise or stuttering feeling when going straight though).

I had my GT3 Touring in for a piece of window trim that needed to be replaced under warranty and I had my tech (who is the shop foreman) listen/feel. He said the slight noise/clicking were the axles and it was actually a good thing (I only experience this when first backing out of the garage and driving away - or other times when it has been parked for a while - no evidence of it when warm. My tech is very knowledgeable of the GT cars and reminded me that they will make noises that are unique and not present in other 991 models.

Why is it "a good thing." Seems like a weird statement without explanation.
