Is a GT3 Touring Convertible Coming?

Probably too late in the cycle for the 991 to have a regular Cabrio that comes after the Speedster which is basically the same thing.
992 for sure. But not the Weissach RS, though.. That would be diluting the RS brand LOL.

GT4 (nice car but not a real GT car; I owned one, I know), GT3 touring (glad it doesn't offend you, but that's not the standard I use), and trademarking GT5 (drooling with anticipation on this one ). On a semi-related note, I have never quite gotten the GTS moniker. It's an S with an options package. All of these are great cars, so please don't get me wrong, but GT this and GT that is watering it down.

Easier for me to accept a little dilution at the bottom of the price range than the top...

To be fair to the wet baffled' sump engine in the gt4, it's proven more than durable enough even in gt4 class racing so it can I think safely be said to be fit for purpose. Ultimately that's what matters than whether it's a dry sump engine or not...

Maybe the very different uses of the motor (7,200 rpm in GT2 RS or 7,800 rpm in GT4 or 9,000 in GT3) dictates how the motor should be built (not just dry sump, but also solid lifters, Titanium conrods, and hollow crankshaft used for oiling the rod bearings, among many other upgrades).
