Default LA (not OC) Porsche Mechanic?

I'm new to LA and recently took US delivery (after ED) of a .2 GT3. Can you guys please recommend a few Porsche mechanics? I don't want to get screwed with dealer prices and I have no loyalty to any dealer now after having to pay ADM for my .2 GT3. I've done several web searches and I've found many shops that specialize in German cars, but I want a shop that specifically does a lot of Porsches, not the ones that do 90% MB/BMW with only the occasional P-Car.

I live in Marina del Rey and would prefer to find a mechanic within 20 miles of me, which includes as far south as long beach, east to DTLA and north to most of the Valley.

Thanks in advance.

Some friends worked with Jack at Scientific in Pasadena (I never worked with him myself, but they were happy). Not cheap as I hear. But they are all about Porsche. Maybe 5 miles beyond your 20 mile threshold form MDR. Good luck.

What type of work are looking to have done?

BTW, good on you for not supporting your ADM dealer! They don't deserve any of your loyalty or service business.

I've used HOUSE Automotive in Pasadena for regular service/maintenance as well as installation of aftermarket parts and been happy with their work.

House Automotive.

Bunch of former Porsche techs.

Ask for Greg, the owner.

Agree. If the dealers aren't going to value customer loyalty, then neither will I! @#$ those greedy bastards.

For now no major service, I put 2,500 miles on my car during ED and as I plan to keep the .2 GT3 for a decade or more, I'm going to do an oil change now, as well as the free one at 10,000. Also want them to flush my brakes and install racing brake fluid so I'm ready for the track. Also just plan to evaluate how they treat me, so I know if I'll come back for something more significant.

+1 for House. I've been there a couple of times and always left happy.
Also try Marco at TLG in Van Nuys area.

Word. I can't say enough good things about Marco.
There's always a couple of water pumpers in his shop.

House is the WORST shop I have ever been to. Please don't ever recommend those crooks unless your like your car being worse off than before you dropped it off.

Auto Werkstatt / Accutrack in Manhattan Beach - maybe the most honest people I have ever met. (no affiliation)

Any shops near DTLA to handle basic things like oil changes, bleeding brake lines, etc. (basic track prep)?
