Side decals are coming off to properly install PPF. Decals are matte so you can't install PPF over them without making it glossy. We have a second set of decals to put on after the PPF is done.

Did the same
You will get plenty of micro tears of the decal.

With the clear wrap, do they cut that on the car?

I believe so? I've done and redone several cars with Premier and have never seen blade marks on my cars ever.

I think they have to with their one piece custom bumper.

Lookin' good.
Would you be interested in a GT3 meet up when it's done? Been dying to check out a .2 3RS. I have a GT3 manual in chalk with BBI/GRP exhaust and another local buddy has one in Miami Blue.

A good installer will never cut on your car, and if they do it’s very hard to see the cut lines in the clear coat/paint. Agree with you the matte will look shinny when you PPF over. My installer covered mine as I didn’t want to removed the OEM decals, and if it came out bad he would have removed but we actually like the way it came out. Nice car by the way enjoy in good health.

It's off to Sharkwerks for Exhaust and then straight to Premier for PPF, Ceramic Coating and Window Tinting.

Now the Turbo S has another P-Car to keep it company.

That is beautiful OP!

Wow! that's a big piece of ppf... guess you have to do it that way if you want to minimize the lines... starting to understand why the cost is so high for this.

my local PPF installer has some proprietary process where they do zero cutting on the car (all precut somehow)

heard some real horror stories when its cut on the car, i guess it depends on who's doing the work

Well the rain stopped (and started again ) and I was able to get the car out for a short drive. I'm slowly breaking the car in with 200 miles on the clock. No rain in the forecast so I'm hoping to get more miles in.

Couple notes
- Sharkwerks Center Bypass is quiet in the car, but I am told it's loud on the outside. Can't wait to push the car harder.
- The Michelin PS Cup 2 tires are LOUD! Drove across the San Mateo Bridge and couldn't hear anything except tire noise.
- Comfortable car (minus tire noise), I could daily it.
- Does not seem to get any attention.
