Price should not be a factor when measuring performance otherwise a Corvette beats the 3RS and the rest of the bunch here handily!
Pista is clearly above the 3RS; only Porsche that makes sense here is the 2RS. In fact, Corvette should be in that class too.

Bingo. They like to pick on the "Little Brother" GT3RS 991.2, which in this comparison nipping at the heels fo Pista and Performante.
Enter 991 GT2RS and it will kick the butt of Pista and Performante. Then comparison would be rather be close if not even. Then again let them put identical tire brand and model so we know grip is even steven.
Drive safe,

When mags don’t put the GT3RS in the competitions and only put the GT2RS, you guys complain. Now they out the GT3RS in and you guys complain it is unfair and they should have put the GT2RS in. I’m glad to see the GT3RS in a test finally. It did quite well considering.

Fairly meaningless test unless all cars are on the same tires. Pista and RS caught traffic. I don't think it affected the Pista lap time very much, but it definitely slowed the RS lap time. Both the RS and Lambo appeared to have more understeer than the Ferrari. Whether that is due to tires, setup, or inherent differences in the cars is impossible to know at this point. Pista didn't sound bad for a turbo car. I was surprised that the Lambo didn't sound better (at least to me). On equal tires, etc., I'd still expect the Pista to be the quickest, but not by the margin shown here. As others have said, it'd be really interesting to see an equal battle between the 2RS and Pista.

The Pista is a Press car.
On equal rubber, and showroom cars, the GT3RS would reverse the results, and the GT2RS would just add insult to injury.
A press car Pista recently ran the 1/4 mile at close to 145mph, 3,300 lbs without driver, 2WD, 3.9TT, not even modified 800+ hp 991 GT2RS with better traction off the line, on a prepared drag way (not on street pavement) are touching 145mph, not even modified 720s and dynos show the 720S producing close to 800hp stock.

Press car likely has 900hp while customer will have 650...lol.

Yep, Ferrari has always lied and cheated with their press cars (vs showroom cars).
In this new turbo era, it’s now even easier for Ferrari to cheat. Just crank up the boost on their latest turbo press car just for the test.
