Default New GT3 Cup cars

saw a couple very special brand new GT3 Cup cars this weekend at my local dealer. I’m told these are 2 of only 5 made of the PCA edition GT3 Cup cars. These are brand new, cars number 1 and 3, and the blue one (#1) is the only one made in blue; the others are all white.

These are actually FOR SALE brand new at Byers Imports in Columbus OH.

2 of 5? I think these could be ordered and there is more than 5 of them. My dealer was showing me these a few months ago. I think they were around $300k each to order one and it came in 2 colors. These are new ones someone probably ordered at the dealership. After all, you probably need both colors right?

Just went by what the OP was told. 2 of 5 PCA edition cars. Assuming not Cup cars total. But yes if you have one color you need the other!

Pointless to pay extra for stuff that will have to get replaced with inferior parts...fender vents wont be legal for any race series the car races in, CF mirrors will get blasted etc.

Pretty in blue but not sure what the point is

Absolutely correct. These are available because they didn't sell for the reasons mentioned by C.J.. These are collector cars only and basically useless for anything but DEs. I am sure they will be worth something many years from today but better off putting $300K elsewhere.

Nice colors but those fancy fenders are the some of the first things to get damaged when going wheel-to-wheel.

Regular cup fender is €300 give or take. I cringe at the thought of what the CF vented piece will cost...

Hey at least these cars come with the supercup pipes which sounds apocalyptic and make a lil extra power...

Pretty sure the blue is Club Blau, just like the 60 special edition 911 C2 GTS editions made a few years ago.

Apparently there were just 5 of these PCA edition 991.2 GT3 Cup cars made, which are of course not the only GT3 Cup cars made. What makes them special? I suppose the colors probably. They also apparently come with a bunch of common spare parts. MSRP is in the mid to upper $200K’s supposedly, though I suspect there will be ADM. I didn’t ask.

No adm, anyone could have ordered it through PMNA. They have some other interesting cars coming too.

Like was said, they initially said they would do 5, but that turned into however many people want to place an order for it. No home in PCA racing....so.....? Pretty, safe and fast DE car.
