Member KRUEL picked up his 991.2 GT3RS today with DB Carbon vent slats and side scoops installed. NACA ducts will be installed after ppf. I am posting pictures on his behalf. Enjoy:

Disclaimer: I nor KRUEL stand anything to gain from DB Carbon for sharing these photos..

Looks good, but my OCD would force me to do everything in CF, rather than a mismatch of black plastic and CF

I think the total package is close to $30k 🤯 for side skirts, diffuser, NACA, fender vents, air intake, engine bay cover, front splitter and air intake slats, wheel well slats, etc

tracking will kill the pieces close to the ground also

Looks good but I agree. All or none....

Very nice!
You did side intakes without stripes (Super nice!)

Vadaredevil 12-30-2018 01:24 PM

Did you remove fenders to install wheel vents?

Those look gorgeous, Thx for sharing

Can't you Ceramic coat them?
As an example of how good the protection is: I did that to my new Jeep and high altitude Utah juniper trees trail scraped the doors like fingers on a chalk board with no damage. That stuff is so slippery, I was amazed how it shed damage and am a true believer in those products

KREUL 12-30-2018 01:38 PM

Going to add a few more pieces. I'm afraid the nose skirt will get destroyed too quickly as it scrapes occasionally even with nose lifted.
As stated, this stuff is expensive!

KREUL 12-30-2018 01:41 PM

They had to pull the front wheels off and remove the plastic fender well to install the front vents.
The rear just pop in and out.
NACA ducts are glued in so dealer said do it one time after clear bra.

KREUL 12-30-2018 01:43 PM

The quality of the parts is excellent!!!!!!

Vadaredevil 12-30-2018 01:55 PM

Did you see where db is doing group buy
i don’t know if it is closed but since you will be repeat customer

im gonna do fenders, naca and side rear air ducts. Also wind buffer bracket
Thinking on engine lid panel

I'm sure you could...or wrap the ground effects with Xpel before install??
My ZR1 with OEM Carbon Fiber ground effects got sandblasted when at the track....and that was the less expensive GM stuff.

i have ocd as well. So i went with naca ducts, front spears, fender vents, engine cover, and side scoops. In my head i said everything that most likely wont scrape the floor will change to carbon. Long term its easier on my pocket as well. Right now scraping plastic is much cheaper than scraping carbon. Works for peace of mind while driving as well. My parts are still sitting waiting for my car to show in February

Wow, Hope you don’t have to change your name to Silver boy after spending that much coin ;). Seriously nicely done. What color is your car? Please post pictures when all the parts are done.

its miami blue with weissach and a bunch of cxx as well. Have akrapovic race exhaust, bbi cage, harnesses, bbs mag wheels, db carbon bits etc waiting for the car. My car has no “value”. May be the most expensive 3rs in the world 😂. The cost per mile thread got me thinking i am for sure going to have the worst numbers. Hopefully i don’t regret it later. I dont think i will. FYI wheels will be gold and so will cage 😂
