The “Unofficial” GT3RS Production Number Stats
#91
Back to 997 era they did not have so many marketing plays on "special editions". The numbers of 991 GT3RS's are ~ tripled from 997 days (both WW and NA), and ~ quadrupled including those special editions. I know the economy has changed and China/India are richer etc, but world GDP has not increased by 2 fold in the past decade. Porsche has become too greedy because they can (until they can't).
Happy New Year by the way.

Hi guys, Happy New Years to all!
once4all you are correct in saying I originally projected there would be less 991GT then they have actually produced, this is why I have steadily updated my estimates. I think most are surprised by how many PAG is pushing out. You are correct there will be ~3x as many 991GT as 997GT but there will also be many more 991 then 997 so of course there will be more. 997GT WW was ~11,500, 991GT WW will be ~32k.
Overall, 991 GT will be about 1 out of 8 of 991’s (~11k GT out of ~85k NA 991)
Even if NA ends up getting 3,500 991 GT3RS this would mean only 4 out of 100 991’s are a 3RS. Break this down further by color or options or separate .1 from .2 and it becomes clear there aren’t too many available that fit every criteria, as well as keeping in mind that as the years go on less cars will be on the market.
I agree with Waxer that I don’t see PAG continuing to build 991’s past Q1 or April. My current estimate of 11k GT is based on what they have been pushing out over the past 6mo and what they can build through April. If they do continue to build 991’s through summer 2019 then I would expect my estimates to once again increase.
regardless of production numbers I think we can all agree we are very blessed to have the ability to own and drive these cars,
Happy 2019 everyone!

Specifically regarding Non PCCB, with WP, GR cars there are now:
11 808WP for USA
4 909WP for USA
and 2 808WP for Canada

GT2's are at around 1014 for NA with 920 2018's and 94 2019's cars.
anyway you can list 2RS production by month and I’ll do the same for 3RS. Then with the GT3 numbers Ryantt poated last month we can see how many NA GT units PAG is averaging by month which should give us a better idea of final estimates.

I haven't been been doing detailed tracking because it looked like Ryan had that pretty well handled.

With the production numbers much higher than previously predicted, it will be pretty easy to get any kind of GT car you want, especially the GT3 varieties...................values should stay high until the 992 and then they will decline for great buys on the second hand market as a second or third owner........
