Default GROUP BUY: TrackSpec Seat Recliner Brackets

In the thread discussing these brackets a few people expressed an interest in a group buy. I called TrackSpec this week and spoke to the owner to see if he'd be interested and he has graciously said yes!

Here are the details:

The GB opens January 1 and will close end of day January 15, with the discount codes below needing to be entered at checkout:
Free shipping: CTOJ6FB
10% off brackets: TYL4SDZ

I confirmed that their web ordering system allows both codes to be entered, but it has to be done one at a time (enter code click apply, enter second code and hit apply again). There are no minimums, no tracking of participants, just go to the website and place your order during the dates mentioned above. Below is a link to the product to review.

https://www.trackspecauto.com/store/ts001

Should they exhaust inventory during this two week window all orders placed will be honored but there will be a delay as more brackets will need to be made.

Hopefully the forum members find this useful and TrackSpec gets some new customers. I'll be ordering mine when the time comes.

While I prefer the stock seating angle, I did try these brackets and they're a good, simple design. If I needed some recline or room for a helmet I'd have no reservations using them.

I installed them yesterday and the seating position/angle is quite noticeable. I have only sat in the car for about 5 minutes, but I like it, and would recommend the brackets It has the feel of a race car seat, and surprisingly takes pressure off the lower back. I am not a big person by any means 5'8", 160#, athletic, broad shoulders, and the stock position forces my shoulders forward if my lower back touches the seat without a lumbar pillow. It was a simple install, and we did it without removing the seats.

One thing, buy the regular aluminum ones, and have a shop anodize them for you. Some of the provided hardware does not come in black.

Only thing I’m worried about is....I’m 6’5” tall....and my knees/leg is close to the steering wheel and by raising the front of the seat I don’t want my knees legs any closer to the steering wheel. There’s a small gap on the bottom of my leg and seat but I’m just not sure how I’d fit if front of seat is raised more.

Codes work as described. No problems with ordering a pair.

Got one set or black brackets coming, although the code didn't let me apply that same code for two sets.
I'm assuming I just need to create a second order for another set...

Update:
Two sets successfully ordered with free shipping and 10% off.
If you want two sets (for both driver and passenger seats) you simply have to order twice. Minor inconvenience!

Doesn't seem like their website allows shipping to Canada, unless I am missing something.
