Very odd route... almost as far south as JAX, now has to go all the way back north to Davisville and then back south again.

I think the ship is avoiding the direct route to Davisville in order to avoid weather which would take it through 23 ft waves!
I'm all for them protecting our precious cargoes. How about coming to JAX first?!!!

Mother Nature never seems to be kind to these transport ships. My last car lost over 3 weeks in delays after it left Emden. Lost 10days at anchor in front of Davisville. Porsche seems to build them early but the ships lose that gain.
