Yes, it's almost dimensionally exact, I think one inch or less longer front overhang. And what does this have to do with purity? And what is purity anyway? 550 spyder was pure. Despite being almost identical in footprint, it's taller and quite a bit heavier..Its exactly 100Kg heavier than the 991.1 and 55Kg heavier than the 991.2..Despite being the same size, the 992 is now becoming decidedly lardy especially for a '911'..

But - it will be interesting if they will use more light weight material/parts on the 992 GT3 to minimize such a weight gain??. The problem is that Porsche thinks you can negate weight gain with more power( which I get) but you can only dress a pig so many ways

Damn man, 262 lbs will be a task for the GT team to solve for ....will be interesting to say the least. Not sure a NA can overcome that HP to weight gain, but will be fun to watch.
There is only ONE pure Porsche, all the others are inferior and we should boycott until Porsche makes the car they secretly, REALLY want to make! Just like the 993 and 997 and now 991 homers boycotted and taught Porsche a serious lesson! #NotMyPorsche

I do not think just 25 HP( RS output) will do the trick. And 9500 red line would not get me that excited. 9000 is already a stretch because the gears are just a tad long so 9500 I think would be just too much.
They will certainly have some tricks up their sleeve.
I am done with the Porsche rat race so I am glad i can sit and enjoy it from the Gallery .
