Don't like watches, expensive clothes, or really anything expensive besides cars....no man cave or fancy garage and no interest in that....I guess all my "discretionary" spending goes to vehicles but have really never put a number on it.....

Insurance is my largest expense.... hate it. Must have it. Never want to use it. Glad when I do.

I’m probably between C and D. I spend more on watches/air/etc, but also have other vices like guns/fountain pens. I also am a sneaker head and like bespoke clothing, so that all pulls from what I spend on cars.

I have no debt and wife has more jewelry than she needs. I have 1 watch and wear wrangler jeans. My discretionary funds go for vacations, with cars, with cars and wife and lastly vacations with just wife. That is in order of priority.

I'll play. I'm probably between C&D. I'm a golf guy - so I spend more monthly on golf than cars as i haven't really gotten into tracking cars regularly. Don't spend on clothes or sneakers or pens or guns. Have a couple nice watches but they're paid for. Spend on vacations and car / man cave / backyard outlays. But those are point in time outlays. But average 2-3 biggies per year. Still have 2 kids (teenagers) on payroll plus college to come. Plus wife .. Without kids, i'd have a couple more cars - probably track oriented as i'd have time to do that.

My cars have held value better this past month than most of my investments.

I'm fortunate that I can buy pretty much whatever without thinking too much about it, but my wants are pretty reasonable. I find that having less stuff to worry about makes life more enjoyable and stress free, so I just have low maintenance toys. I do have a watch addiction, although I pared it down to just 13 watches. For the most part they appreciate or keep their value well, so it's not wasted money.
I love to travel, but even then I keep it reasonable. I've never flown first class in my life. I can see the appeal of paying more to avoid travel hassles, but it's not a big enough deal to me to part with that much more money.

I'm saying discretionary spend...so could be 5-10% of your income or whatever.

Very interesting question, we still have kids on the payroll and my wife does not appreciate the hobby so I try to keep it modest. We spend less than 7% of gross on car stuff and that keeps everyone happy until she looks in the garage and sees three “P” cars. I think a consolation into fewer but much nicer cars is in order

Embarrassed to say I have no idea. Kids and wife make it difficult to easily quantify it. As long as my bottom line keeps going up more than my burn rate, I just try to enjoy life. I used go be neurotic about analyzing my income/spending/etc. one day when i hang it up and income stops coming in, I'll probably get more disciplined about it. For now, I just try to make decent decisions about the cars I buy and limit depreciation half-life machines and/or maintenance pigs (save the CGT).
At this phase in life, time is my most scarce resource. So as long as I'm not running in the red, i optimize for time and experience. One day, I hope that will flip as I retire. But, I have a "test trial" on retirement over the next 6 mos. I plan to go back at it hard after the 6mo, but who knows, I may decide I like having more time than income? Then I'll need to know the answers to your questions above. Again, my wife and kids may have more to say about that than I do
