Yes, the fenders have to come off to exchange the whole vent units - just a few screws on the fenders and it´s definetly worth the job ;-) Optional the vent slats can be exchanged only w/o removing the fender, we plan to offer an vent slats set only as option.

So if I understand correctly, soon you will sell just the vent slats that can be popped into place without having to remove the fender and replace the vent slats and housing as one unit?
