OGM Unicorn!

First things first… A huge thank you to all of you at Rennlist. This community is responsible for my Oak Green Metallic Unicorn. I call it a Unicorn because when I initially inquired about the Touring through my sales rep, he said, "it doesn’t exist; it’s a unicorn!" But the Rennlist cleaning ladies knew more, so I secured my allocation and patiently waited. That was back in April of 2017. In February of 2018, I saw a rendering of an Oak Green Metallic Touring. I asked my sales rep about changing my build to a PTS, but was told, "PTS was yanked for GT3’s”. But you all knew better. Rennlist was saying there was a small window of opportunity for October builds, so I kept pushing. Next thing I knew, I had a PTS build confirmed! The only thing left was the agonizing wait! Fast forward to December 18th, when I celebrated my birthday by finally taking delivery at PECLA. It was an amazing experience, and I can't recommend it enough! The hardest part going forward it getting through the break-in period…
Thank you all!

In the meantime, I had my tint guy slap on some black vinyl in the rear quarters. This area seems to take the most abuse. Looks good as it matches my door handles... and totally temporary.

cool.. betcha can't wait!
Big thanks... a modern version of this is what I was going for. I saw it in the Porsche Museum after I had submitted the final order and knew it was the right choice.

My favorite is the paint code- GT3 22L. Has the benefit of being less memorable than just my vanity plate that says just "GT3". As I speed through my neighborhood 'ring' road, I don't want someone to easily remember my plate number in case they make a phone call to the 'officials'.
Now we know!

Didn't want to be left out of the Oak Green Party
Vecca, Zmon, GeoJoe - I didn't want to be left out of the OGM 22L GT3 Love fest...
GeoJoe I have to admit - I ordered your seat inserts the day I saw you post - I had been looking at them but hadn't yet pulled the trigger - thanks for being the canary in the coal mine on that one.
I installed the RennDecals that are in the pic - though I am having NS2 work some less flashy ones now, still trying to draw the yellow from the calipers into the rest of the car...I'll post when finalized...just looking for something a little less shouty - but I do love the side decals
Plates are a nod to the original Touring

Finally picked up my car after Moe (Glistening Perfection) installed a PPF on it. He did an incredible job, and his customer service is outstanding! Now time to put some miles on it! Here are a couple of photos he sent me.

Still waiting to see some OGM on the inside... where are those painted vents?
Tracked mine this weekend at Barber. What an amazing machine.
...and this is why I added the side vinyl. Just a little bit dirtier that the pics above.
