Who will manufacture us a 'simple' harness bar?
I know this has been visited in the past... and it just doesn't seem we can get anyone to take on making a 'simple harness bar'.
I don't need a 35lb '4 pt' harness bar installed in my car... I'm just looking for a clean simple install of a horizontal bar to go across the rear of the car that I can mount a harness strap to.
So far, the only company who's done this is down in Australia, and they never made a mold.
Can someone (Vendor or Owner) step up here and make one for us?
Best Regards,
Dave

Does anyone have the part# for the ROW 991.2 Titanium Rollbar? Porsche press material indicated that it was 25~ lbs lighter than the 991.1 GT3RS rollbar, and I had one of those which was somewhere in the 45 lbs range for total weight (I have had a 997 GT3 RS custom rollbar that was 75 lbs heavy).
I don't want to add massive weight to my .2 GT3RS, as I'm actually working on drastic weight reductions for this car, but a lightweight harness bar or a lightweight Titanium rollbar fits my needs.

I evaluated the TPC harness bar last year, but that bar only worked for my Turbo S (and every other 991), except the 991 GT cars. It attaches to the locking mechanism brackets for the rear foldable seats.
Hence, my search for the part# for the European 991.2 GT3RS or GT2RS Weissach Package rollbar, as that one fulfills my lightweight criteria, with a bonus rollover protection.

Perhaps the TPC harness bar could be adapted
and secured to the parcel shelf ? See this thread w/ pictures above and below the de-trimmed shelf. Beefing up the area w/ thick fender washers/bolts could be a new place to secure the harness bar?
Perhaps Tom at TPC could take a look and consider viability ?

I have looked into this. The oem bar rear legs attache to the shock towers, which is no problem. The front appears to be attaching to reinforcement plates welded to the car. Any competent racing shop can fabricate the same plates and weld them on. Just the matter of how far the owner is willing to go cutting/welding on shiny new GT car.,..
