Breaking In - Vegas
A friend and I got a chance to put some miles on our new beasts - we started the day with <50 miles on the odometer and ended up with over 200 in less than a couple of hours. If you haven't driven off the Strip to Lake Mead and the Valley of Fire, I would highly recommend it. Only 30 minutes off the Strip. Super smooth roads, fast sweeping turns (watch out for the Park Rangers), and not a stop sign for miles. And some amazing rock formations and topography.
Brilliant day with brilliant cars.....

I fly out to Vegas for work often, and am stuck on the strip with all the drunk tourists. Maybe next time I'll rent something sporty from hertz and do a shout-out to the Vegas Rennlisters to see who wants to play gearhead tour guide?

Send me a PM and we’ll try to link up with our Facebook group. We have a bunch of us with GT cars and aircooled that meet up monthly for breakfast, drives, etc here in Las Vegas.
