Unfortunately, that puts stress on the IMS so they used spitballs and plastic for the coolant system and pipes. Of course they fixed the valves with finger followers, but who knows. Maybe it’s a D-chunk scoring system?

crazy thing is it doesn’t matter cause I keep buying these damn awesome machines!
I had that exactly typed and ready to reply, but you beat me to it

Just hung up with Porsche NA and I'm a part of the port hold.

'19 Miami Blue GT3 RS with Weissach currently on the Bishu Highway.

Estimated to arrive at Davisville between Dec. 21 and Jan. 4....and then sit there until April "or sooner." No other information provided. They said the dealers will be the first to get more info.

So much for sunny January runs in a new RS (talk about first world probs). Just praying it's here before Smokies!

Is this just a USA problem or is Porsche holding shipments to the ROW?

I just called PCNA and apparently my car has now been cleared in their system with no delay. ETA end of January. Hope this is accurate!

Just got off the phone with Anita at PCNA. She confirmed my car is NOT affected and still on track for build completion next week and Feb Dealer delivery. She did confirm that some GT3RS’s are indeed delayed for a “Quality Control Issue”.

looking like this was just a batch issue.

EXACTLY what I'm thinking. Not really too bothered about the delay.....UNLESS it impedes the Smokies trip!!!!!!!

Getting mixed answers.

Dealer said the car is still on hold (this morning)

Spoke to PCNA just a few minutes ago. PCNA said the car is no longer on hold or not affected by the hold.

Not sure what to believe...
