Yep, that would unfortunately be the common component. Which then leads to the question of which cars are affected - just a small batch, all cars built after a certain date, or all .2 GT3/GT3RS?
If it is a batch i would expect some people will get their cars in the coming days. So we need someone to confirm delivery in the next few days. If that happens then we might be able to conclude it is batch related.
Also, if nobody confirms a delivery then we would wonder if a recall is coming. Is this a problem with current production or a discovery of an issue impacting all cars? So getting anyone to confirm delivery of a car might help put the pieces together.

I am wondering the same thing. I have a friend picking theirs up today at the PEC in LA. He was not advised of any issue with him taking delivery...
probably cars built during Cannstatter Volksfest from late September through Mid October. Everyone was out drinking having fun, coming into work hungover/impaired,

I have heard LA PEC are 1-2 months out in booking, so his car probably landed Oct/Nov. LA does 1 new car delivery a day, Atlanta does 2. Picked up my .2 GT3RS on the 28th, great experience in Atlanta!!
Fwiw I know someone who has Atlanta PEC delivery scheduled 12/21 and so far he hasn't heard of any delays. (he called to check yesterday after I sent him a link to this thread)
