How is this different than what most people here seem to be doing: selling their prior GT car back to dealership at a low price to be able to get the new GT car at MSRP?

as pointed out above, if you can take measures to guarantee the specable allocation at MSRP and that you will not be saddled with this unwanted car, 20k over for a new allocation at this point in time is not bad. Sure, there are over a 100 cars on sale right now but most of those were built by the true flippers and the specs suck.

Can bucket seats be swapped out for the 18 way seats?

If you can, there are several Yellow GT3 with PDK on the market with bucket seats.

I agree but he should just buy the allocation and not go through the nonsense of buying and selling back....the dealer wants the canceled one sold and they see their mark.....

I have an easy solution if you somewhat like the specs on the incoming one
tell them yes , then take the incoming GT3 at sticker , leave, enjoy the car , and tell them goodbye
plus side : you have a new GT3 at sticker
negative side : you miss few options and building your own ... should not be a big deal if this is your first GT car
so you beat them at their game

Eh, that cancelled order car and the car you want don't seem that much different. And 4 ways are actually more comfortable than the 18 way seats. So it's really down to color. Is the color yellow worth $20K to you? Racing yellow is a standard color, and it's really not that rare. I'd buy that cancelled car and put my $20k in something else aftermarket.

Honest question.

What is the ROI on being the flipper? If there is an ROI I assume it's b/c the flipper is able to buy low and sell high. So do they just pay the dealer ADM and then add more ADM when they flip it? Or are they getting cars with no ADM at MSRP and then re-selling with ADM to another punter. If they are getting them at MSRP, how are they doing that, they must offer some incentive to the Dealer, what is that incentive?

If there is positive return on being a flipper, why aren't we all doing it? Not talking about morality and ethics here either.

Who is winning (and why) in this game? We all know who loses.
