I'll pm you and fill you in....unless richardbf has already contacted you.
There are a couple excellent groups, one being a specific Porsche GT car group (Sunday drivers club) that are in SE Michigan, Detroit, (including primarily west metro).
We meet for breakfast and outings on various Sunday's and have a private facebook group.
I'm super happy I got hooked up with them....great group of like minded guys.

Gt3 touring on order, planning for early spring delivery. Audi s8 is my DD, wickedly fast in a straight line and tempurpedic comfortable, but wondering where I’m going to drive my gt3 in the western suburbs of Detroit other than the track??? Anyone from the area care to share some great drives/routes?
I couldn't pm you.

not many great roads unfortunately. Track is your best bet. We do have some organized drives every once in awhile when the weather is nice. Some nicer roads in the Ann Arbor area. My good friend from Platinum Motorcars usually organizes some events.

Last outing we had in west metro (Detroit) where I remembered to take a few pics.
We had a small group that morning, along with a couple other car enthusiasts (BMW/Mercedes) that joined us.

I miss Birmingham, great place to live and play - definitely take your car and cruise Woodward since it's a good time. Hines can be OK - all depends upon who is in front of you...!! Other than that, sadly I don't many other suggestions.

There are some good tracks in the area and a lot of suburban areas to drive in with lakes and scenic drives. If you are willing to drive to Northern Michigan there are some great open roads there too. Roads aren’t the best in the Detroit suburbs but there are a lot of car people.
