Confusing, middle car has Florida plates and white 2RS appears to have foreign plates?

The Turbo S Executive in the middle is owned by the newly elected PCA chapter President. He actually owns the place where we had our party and lives here but registered the car in FL. Sales tax in Louisiana is 9.5% which i believe is the highest in the country so people who buy high end cars here typically register them out of the state at their other residence or through an LLC (Florida, Montana, Alabama) to avoid or reduce sales tax. His car has a PTS color that was developed only for this car model. (He also owns and races a 908).
The other 2RS owner also owns a 918, a 911R and some other high end cars. I didn't talk to him so I am not sure what he does. That car also has Florida plates. He lives in Miami but bought the car from our NOLA dealership and took delivery yesterday. The color is a PTS and not standard. Not sure what it is.
I also sat next to a guy during dinner who owns a 996 Cup Car. He races it regularly. I was absolutely shocked that there was such a concentration of people who owned high end Porsches here. Not many of us at the Christmas party but everyone I talked to had a GT car of some type.
Amazing to have these three cars in one place at a small Christmas party.

I took delivery of my GT3 on 10/12 and drove it down to Nola with my wife that same day for my birthday weekend. Everyone at our dealership thought I was nuts but everything went great. My most memorable birthday to date. The car got a LOT of attention; can’t imagine what a 2RS would have been like.

even with that message you are either brave (or not too smart) to valet your beautiful new car. As a former valet when I was a teen, I would never let a valet drive my Porsches. I have also heard many horror stories.

I never valet even my more mundane cars - would rather walk a few blocks...

Required neither bravery nor stupidity. If I had doubts I wouldn’t have valeted the car.

I always valet my Porsches. It's a car and I wont let its price tag inconvenience me. It's replaceable.
I just make sure they know how to drive a manual before I turn over the keys.
