Chubb Insurance $8500 a year lol

Chubb has always positioned themselves as a premium product at a premium price. No surprise that it is substantially more expensive than many others.
I need to shop my insurers around every three years to keep then honest. It's like a game at this point. Find a reasonable provider...stick with the increases for three years...shop around, switch, reset....start over. A graph of my insurance premiums looks like a sawtooth pattern.
It's a hassle because umbrella policies usually require home and autos with the same insurer.

If you are close to going over the mileage you can notify them and pay up for the next level. They don't offer any grace overages, and send you mileage statements to be notarized several times a year.
My major gripe is: you are not allowed to run any errands, ex getting a haircut I was told. If you pay for the mileage then you should not worry about getting a haircut. I was told getting ice cream is ok, WTF

This could be a state issue, we live in California and have a place in AZ as well. Same carrier, same coverage, same cars and drivers, twice as expensive to insure in AZ.
about the same in CA. My 991.1 4S and 3RS are each around ~$1800/yr for $500k per accident, $1k deductible’s.

Chubb/AIG wanted $14k for homeowners, State Farm was $1800.
If you put absolutely everything with them and buy a ton of insurance it is only 50-100% more than the competition.
Check your state laws as to how the state requires insurers to calculate value for a total loss. Stated value or agreed value may not provide any real benefit and, frankly, if you fight them, you usually can get what you think is fair on a normal policy.

American Modern has three mileage levels:
1K Miles
3K Miles
6K Miles

With Liberty Mutual paying 3500$ for the RS and two DD's
Liberty policy renewing soon, broker warned me about potential increases. My preference is to stay with Liberty but Farmers is very competitive and is my fall back option.
American Modern is very fair with their premiums but not being to drive and get a haircut is a no go.
I love Las Vegas but my God NYC was much cheaper to insure a car.
