Default Smoke

New delivery GT3 Touring

I get a puff of smoke often on start up.
Once I had a huge billow of smoke on start up.
Earlier I had just moved the car around garage bays, running it for a minute or so.
Dealer says that this is normal for a track oriented car.
Any comments will be appreciated

It is normal and some cars smoke and some do not. It should not happen on every start up but every once in a while it is fine.

Your car is also new and it has been sitting for a while. Go put a few hundred miles on her and should be fine

My car still occasionally smokes on startup after 8,000 miles. I'd say it only does it 1 in 10 starts. I think it's most enjoying to my neighbors

I appeciate all of the feed back that the smoke is normal, and especially about the mosquitos.
I will be sure to fire up around sundown when they arrive,

Mine, a 991.1, smoked on startup for about 2000 miles. After that it was pretty much a non event. On one particularly bad startup my neighbor ran into my garage thinking my car was on fire.

I thought the .2 doesn't smoke as often. I gotta say, I've got about 4500 miles on my car and I've never once seen it smoke.
