No, its just straight pipe fro the factory CAT back, sounds amazing, so no CEL because the factory CAT and o2 sensors are still there, just removing all the mufflers, extending the length, changing the pitch. I would guess, less loss in torque than a side delete and center delete due to tube length. impressive sound for sure.

Ok then. Tone is fantastic, very smooth. The issue for me will be can I tolerate the volume.

Let's be honest -- that will be the issue for all of us.

As sparingly as I drive the car, though, I think it'll be another little cherry on top of the experience for when I do get her out and about. Can't fuggin' wait

What does this open JCR exhaust do for the power curve? Has this been dyne's and compared to stock exhaust? Curious on the HP and TQ changes with this exhaust. Thanks

What would be great is a internal test on DB at a 70 mph in top gear, then compare to a side delete and side delete with center delete and see how much louder it is. It could be really close at low rpm

Db is tricky and subjective though.

Exactly true...what a db meter hears and what a human ear hears it very different. The human ear is sensitive to certain frequencies and a db meter is suppose to read equal across the frequency spectrum.

over all sound level is first, its going to drone, period, how loud the drone is, is totally contingent to how long you can stand it. so lets just agree its going to drone.

Yes you can hear the drone in the video of the auto blogger on the air strip when they are cruising at street speeds and talking about the high speed run

Very difficult to judge purely on video. The sound level at normal speeds is very reasonable. I think it’s inportant to be aware that this system is our most extreme offering; zero silencers or valves is guaranteed to be loud.

We’re releasing a silenced version of our Race Pipe in the new year, early testing shows we have managed to cut down the dB levels between 8/10dB throughout the rpm range comparing the development Silenced Race Pipe to our regular Race Pipe. Most importantly the tone remains.

That will probably be awesome. I wonder or think the silenced pipe might have more torque. I'm extremely curious of how much power both versions make and if they move the max power around on the dyno graph.

I'm not bashing your Race Pipe...i think it's awesome and believe you're on to something with the design of the longer length pipes.

Youre having me reconsider doing side muffler delete now.

What is the DB on the current race pipe vs a side delete with center delete, being "no muffler" but the center delete having a smaller path when the valve is closed and then open.
