Plenty of great roads in N. GA without having to go to the tail.
The Tails is good but like said, for empty weekdays. Not wknds.

the best time for the tail was a couple years ago when the landslide had it closed to 2 way traffic and was only open 8am-8pm and you could only go up and back.

there were no lookie loos and local yahoos. Everyone on the dragon was there for a purpose. Plus, they only had 2 cops on duty that season, and once you knew where they were, you were golden.
