Default TPMS on 991.1 (GT3RS) vs 991.2 (GT3 T)

Hello all,
I have question on TPMS and any advice or help will be greatly appreciated.
I purchased winter wheel+tire sets from Suncoast for my 2017 GT3RS (991.1). The TPMS were recognized for both summer and winter wheels.
And now changed my car to GT3 Touring (2018, 991.2) imported from Finland. Just raised suspension by 18mm and fits fine with winter tire which is 35 vs OEM sumer is 30, etc, etc.
Now the problem is the TPMS on the winter set is not recognized on GT3 touring. I reside in Korea and took it to the service (covered under World warranty). Porsche Korea service said frequency and everything seems to register fine on the computer system, but the GT3 Touring is not recognizing the winter sets' TPMS.
Can you advice on my situation? Should I purchase a new set of TPMS and valves for the winter wheel+tire sets?
Thanks in advance.

I just went through this — TPMS sensors for 991.1 and 991.2 are different.

Yes. In the US Get them from tire rack. They are the exact same brand, spec, shape as OEM and much much cheaper than the dealer. I went through this with the HRE's on my 2RS.

Also remember when you order that you can get either silver or black valve stems. I had to paint mine because I ordered silver.

I do not know if tire rack offers them in black.

I can confirm they are not exchangeable.

Me too. Bought 4 from Tire Rack and had them installed in the wheels from a .1 so they'd work with my .2. Although last year when I learned the lesson the hard way when I put the .1 winters on I just tolerated the error message all winter...

Thank you all for the quick reply. I never thought the sensors would be different from .1 to .2. Porsche sure does know how to sell more products...

Tirerack currently doesn't have them. Ended up getting a set on eBay -- same brand as OEM (Huf). The sensors are orange with black stems for $148.
