Agree with Sam above. Porsche doesn't make bad cars. Do people honestly think because the next one will be hybrid/turbo/wind powered it will be a terrible performing car? No, it will out perform the 991 very easily.

Times are changing and competition is fierce. Look at the other cars in the same category. They're either all turbo, hybrid, or have a V8/10. Unless Porsche does something fundamentally different, they will "lose the race".

Funny - been flirting with this as my DD. I would have to go with Paddles because my Wife would need to drivw it once in a while if my car is behind hers ect ect. My 550 was being serviced so I went to pick her up this AM and the M2 Comp is so darn nice looking and love how small it is(Perfect size). For $65,000 you can get her fully loaded. The M4 Comp was $124,000. I could not belive how overpriced the new M4 is. It acyually makes my .2 GT3 look like a bargain. I would never buy the new M4 over the M2

Turbo would surely get me in more trouble...I mean help me with the loss of power at altitude. Not a deal breaker imo.

Hated the games and how hard the 991 GT cars were to get for non-VIPs across the board, if it has to go turbo so be it I have faith in the elves at Weissach
Yes, the games to get a GT car are ridiculous. We all know the turbos are coming in the GT 3's. It's just a matter of time as the other companies with turbos keep raising the bar. Perhaps it's time to get on with it. If you can, put a NA 911 that you love in your garage and make space for the next generation GT3's.

The statement says a lot less than you would think at first read. NA just means no turbo. Doesn’t mean no hybrid. Also, no mention of the RS. Just opinion, but I think it’s possible the GT3 comes out with unassisted NA, maybe matching the 520HP the RS has today or a little better. But the RS, I don’t see how it’s not hybrid. Just my take...

Ive been posting this for years. The last Porsche car to not have a solitary NA engine will be the GT3. If Porsche goes turbo or hybrid in their GT cars it will first show up in the RS, and might be in the RS exclusively for multiple car generations.

Porsche will want to keep a NA drivers car (with manual option) in their lineup for as long as international government emissions regulations will allow them.

Mark my words, the last manual, NA car Porsche makes, will be a GT3.

I will also be happy to bet people here $, that the 992 GT3 will be NA.

^ It will not be a GT3 but a GT4 with the last NA.

Maybe that’s why they went Flat-4 first - might be an improvement to go electric from here...

Yes!! People rave about BMW M2 for 65k. Please, before doing that, drive the Alfa 4C. It’s no contest.
