Ah well - we're all different but I've never had an issue with that seat?? I've been on the Tuono forum for a while now and don't recall seeing any issues either? In all honesty though when I said comfortable I was really referring to the ergonomics of it vs riding a sports bike with clip-ons and having to stop every 30 mins or so to bring your hands back to life or needing a trip to the chiro after a days ride!! And coupled with the fact that it has cruise control you can ride until you're forced to stop for gas and no other reason.
After a texting teen crushed me and I had to give up riding, I got depressed and deleted almost all my bike and track day pics. Wish I hadn't.

Love bikes. Racing on and off since 2008 Ducatis (999R and 1198S), S1000's (2012 & 2016) , and now an R1. So much fun, but hitting the ground sucks.

Thanks! Its a 2017 R1, setup as a racebike (has race bodywork since the photo). Suspension, auto tune, auto-blip, mapped, full arrow ti system, bunch of small items (quick change axles, etc.). I planned to race it so didn't want the R1M - the regular R1 is a better platform to build a racebike from. It doesn't pull as hard on top as the S1000 (but S1K was built more) and had way better fueling and part-throttle response, but the R1 comes off the corner much better (torque curve and traction), and the chassis/front is suits my riding style more. I personally like it much better as it has a much wider setup window than the S1000 and reminds me more of a Ducati which I raced with moderate success (and became very comfortable on).

I never seem to have toys in the same location but this is one of my bikes.. my own design and partially my own build (had to hire some experienced aluminum bending craftsmen to execute my design when my modest talent ran out. Based on a DUCATI 999 with a 1000cc air-cooled DUCATI engine.. everything else is handmade. Trellis Front end is completely unique engineering and calculations. Name is UNA.. means a "single female" in Italian. Leather kindly donated to the cause by Pagani after I modeled the exhaust after half of a Zonda exhaust.

I have a few other Ducati's including a 749R and a completely custom fully race-prepped 1200cc Hypermotard which I use to get around San Francisco. CHP have been too kind to me so far...

Took my hypermotard out on hwy 1 today.. this is basically like a DUCATI dirt bike with a massive 1200cc lump dumped into it. Mine is completely custom with racebuilt engine and magnesium wheels and trick raised suspension.. it's a bit much at times but there is a wheelie in every gear. Today roads were a bit slippy and since it's an old bike without traction control i had to keep the hand steady.. rear tire loves to break loose. I still had some hairy moments with front end sliding a bit in turns so I toned it down and just enjoyed the NORCAL scenery and breathed in the pinecone fresh air.. this is why bikes are so fun sometimes. Best part was sliding by all the traffic heading back into the city and already back home while others are still sitting in their cars. Bikes definitely have their place in the fun toy garage.. Sweet ride! I've done that section on my 1000rr numerous times when I had it. What camera & lens are you using? Impressed by the quality
