Yeah, I would agree with that. But, I dont run street tires on track anymore. I just handle the squirm of street tries after running hoosiers. I'll either run hoosiers for $1500 for 2 to 3 track days, or slick takeoffs for (hopefully) two track days.

Max is right, 4 good session, 2 more OK and then they went off fast.
But they thing is if you're OK going street car lap times, the Pirelli's look to last a total of about 12 sessions.
And I don't get more then that out of any street tire or Hoosier, so.. Seems like a less expensive way to run.
Its that 4th day that kills any new tire's value proposition.
Yes, I have a new .2RS sitting in Germany but I wont pick it up until March 29 and do 3 months of track days in Europe.
The .2RS I was driving was borrowed.
