I can't believe your parents haven't kicked you out of the basement if you can afford a $20k a month payment!

- if you are worried about DD and can afford a $200k car then why not buy a $15k daily driver. It allows me to drive my sports car whenever I feel like it. I dont like to spend a day detailing a car to then drive it in the rain the next day. I can take it to the downtown parking garage and park where I want. I have an R8 that I enjoy driving 6 days a week. However here are situations where it's not fun to drive a sports car.

- nothing wrong with being mindful of depreciation. I have no problem affording nice stuff but I still pay attention to where my money resides, not being wasteful. Or irresponsible with the blessings I have an opportunity to enjoy.

I do park far away. Nothing wrong with a few more minutes of exercise in the parking lot. But there is ALWAYS a POS parked right on top of me when I come back to the car. Lololol. I don't get it.

nothing wrong with taking care of your parents as they get older. Still dont get the bad stigma around this.

I'm not so worried about cost or depreciation of incidents, it just triggers my OCD when things aren't perfect, and in the case of bigger issues it's just the thought of all the extra work to deal with it that gives me a headache. Somebody backs into my bumper, I have to wait to have a good shop fix it, have my detailer paint correct it, have my film guys redo the PPF, have my detailer ceramic coat the film etc. It's just a lot of crap to deal with even for small stuff.

Why waste time worrying about what may never be ?
It's an exercise in futility

I always feel like the first good scratch is the best. Your car is no longer perfect and less to worry about moving forward.

Ha so true, and I learned I’m the only person that knows where they are. I’ve never done paint correction, and I debated on my incoming RS and will pass again and just enjoy the car for what it is a car. I’m a little more **** with my girlish 458 Spider, but GT cars I just drive them hard and have fun. I tease my buddy who fully wraps his cars and all the paint stuff and sells them in a year.
