Default It chimed at me....what's up?

Fan control button was rattling so dealer replaced entire button cluster. All good. Rattle gone. Driving home 30 miles got in some spirited runs, etc. Sun out and nice drive. Pulled of interstate after about 20 miles and accelerated up to 70 and the car "chimed" at me. It was loud. It was like when you hit the lock button on the key fob and you get the "beep-beep" but different in that is more a "ding-ding...ding-ding." I have put about 3,000 miles on the car since owning for the last 8 months, and never heard it chime. There was no other message, etc. What is it?

Not sure if this is the case, but somehow during the swap the speed limit indicator was possibly activated, such that above 70 or any set mph you will get the chime. Did you see anything in the info display? go try it again, and drive above 70 to see if it happens again.

In certain markets, you may also get the speed limit chime if you exceed that particular road’s speed limit.

“Speed limit indicator
The camera-based speed limit indicator informs you of speed restrictions and ‘no overtaking’ zones (start and end). Notifications appear on the display in the instrument cluster and on the screen of PCM.”

Nice...thanks to all....now will look up how to disable....these things are always kinda of a pain for me (not too techy) since it doesn't usually requiring mashing one of the pedals to the floor.
