Here’s a pic I took of a 911 50th Anniversary car whose owner had gotten the factory 991.1 ducktail put on it (and painted to match which he said took a lot of trial and error of the body shop). Looked great....
I now have a GT3 Touring. When it was first announced I was bummed that it didn’t come with a classy ducktail like this. If the GT3 Touring really is supposed to be an homage to the original 2.7 RS, then why not?

So I had an active interest in this very question as I am a 99.1 C4S ducktail owner. I've read that the reason the sport design kit for the 991.2 doesn't have a "real" ducktail is because it interferes with the additional air intake needed for the intercoolers in the 991.2. shame

Stupid question probably - but you would want the moving wing to be de-activated if a duck tail is mounted, right?
