Finally got allocation for GT3T from my dealer?
They want $20K over sticker for a '19. I am waiting to hear on build dates and PTS. Is this about the best deal that can be expected? I really love driving my 16 GTS with the manual tranny but I may have to take the opportunity to part with it and about $90K to run with the big dogs!

The 19s will be few and far between. 20k has been about average for ADM from what I’ve seen. There are always better deals posted on here but your number isn’t really out of line. Maybe you can talk them down to 16-17k over?

No idea why they were testing that 992 GT3 in public that's obviously non-turbo. I was only on a backup list at two places but as soon as those videos were going around of the non-turbo next gen car I told them to move me to the 992 list. Plenty happy with my manual GTS and I can wait another couple years knowing it will be NA. Now I wouldn't take one with zero ADM.
And remember there is a separate rumor that Porsche is going to modernize their paint workshop in line with what Audi has so they can much more easily do PTS. Not every color under the rainbow, but a much larger list for a much smaller cost (since it won't be as disruptive to do it). More and more reasons to sit on the sidelines after the current round of ADM nonsense.

$20k seems like average to slightly better than average.
There was one listed at $10k, but those are very rare. I think I saw three since production started.
If you have a 16 GTS manual, I am not sure I could justify the spread as that is a really cool car.

However, none of us really know what’s coming, despite what prototypes sound like today. From what I’ve seen, $20K ADM is middle of the market for folks who don’t have a pre-existing relationship with a dealer. I think OP should go for it if he wants this car—the next one, even if NA, may be different in other ways he won’t like.

Actually I don't mean to sound that negative--just if you have a non-turbo manual GTS, the GT3T is obviously going to be a better car but it's not the same as someone coming in from something else. Just pay as little ADM as possible without missing the chance, because spread over the next few years it's not much. The back seats thing still gives me a tiny bit of pause--it's fine to have other cars if you need to haul around smaller kids, but it's so nice to not have to choose. Why can't Porsche just create the perfect parts bin car, they have all the bits...

You want the car or not? Very simple. Regardless, I’m sure they’ll take $15k....

For me, whether the $20K ADM is worth it would depend on how long I planned to keep the car. Over 2yrs then yes, under 2yrs then no! I’ve come to the conclusion that Porsche will always make a better car...if the 992 GT3 remains NA, why sweat the 991.2...?

My 911T that arrived in Canada last week with a build date of October 13 is a 2019 car. There are many 991.2 cars on North American shores as 2019 cars so its no surprise continued production of GT3's are 19's.
