Default GT3RS - Extended Deviated Stitching

I apologize if this has been asked, but I tried searching and failed miserably. For the extended deviated stitching package, does that also change the interior door handle colors on the GT3RS, or is that a CXX option? I think it's a CXX option but figured I would ask. I know it changes pretty much everything else, but if it leaves the handles white, not really all that fired up about the stitching change.

I got lucky as hell and got a GT3RS allocation and have to submit my build tomorrow so scrambling a bit here since I didn't really have a final build ready...#firstworldproblems

Thanks Joe - you made the choice easy. Going to pass on deviated stitching.

He is correct. Changing the door pulls to match a deviated stitching color is a CXX option,. It is $1310 to change the pull.

The steering wheel changes with deviated order however; but not the door pull. Seems silly Porsche would do that right? You would think the door pull would change with the order. The deviated option really adds up unfortunately. I did full deviated red in my car.

Chris,

Thanks for sharing. Very silly the deviated stitching doesn’t change the door handles, but maybe someone wouldn’t want that? Seems weird to me but maybe I’m wrong. I opted against it in the end. Maybe change my mind later but doubt it.

I passed the extended stitching because it did not include door handles; they were going to charge me almost $1,500 extra with a 4 week delay as cxx item.

I plan on getting a matching color door handle through Suncoast parts for $445, and have them installed.

Right. I considered this as well. My dealer quoted me $1310 for the CXX pulls. When you add in the $445 for the parts and $800 in labor I felt it was better to just CXX the option. The pulls require R&R of the panels and I'd rather leave them intact as-is.

Not sure how it would be possible to change door pulls with a change in deviated stitching since there are only a few color options for door pulls and way more options for deviated stitching. You can change door pulls to any color you want aftermarket with a $2 strap. Yes it’s laborious but very doable. Several threads that walk you through this if you search.

I agree, the whole lizard green interior includes all of that which is nice. If I were going lizard green, wouldn't be worrying about this...should have just went LG and saved the hassle!!

Mooty, I assume you have had this CXX option done numerous times, and likely with ridiculous delays?

How about just getting these?

https://www.suncoastparts.com/produc...1GTSTRAPS.html

Could probably recoup some of cost by selling Silver ones...

Edit: Saw this was already mentioned above - sorry for being redundant, but maybe link is helpful.

Grant - no problem, thanks for sharing. SA and I discussed today, going to stay away from CXX option(s), but may consider what you shared. Order is at v210 at this point, which if I remember correctly, means the vehicle will be locked imminently. Only thing im torn on a bit is WP verse no WP...we'll see how it goes.

+1. Pulling the door cards is easy.

Any idea where one could source a Miami Blue door pull to match the Miami blue seats for my incoming .2 RS?
