Default A Couple of Questions about the Touring

I've had my Touring for a week now. Just 150 miles. I've looked in the manual but can't find the answers.
1. If you stall the car .. can you restart the car by pressing in the clutch? My 2016 C2 manual had this feature
2. Where in the manual is the info about NOT having to lift off the gas when doing a speed shift?
3. On the rear shelf behind where seats would be there are two hooks. Does Porsche sell something to utilize the hooks .. storage net etc?

Some things I would change if I could spec it again. These are really nit picking items.
I would not order white gauges again. Don't like looking at all the icons
I ordered silver seat belts (silver car). Probably would do yellow or red for some flare.

Some simple things I really like.
No Stop/Start feature
Just one tire pressure setting. No Comfort/Full Load to worry about
Having just 6 speeds. Didn't like the 7 speeds in the C2
Lastly, this is not a big deal. Glad I can turn off the Auto Blipping.

I’m getting my Touring in a couple weeks but I have a 2018 GT3 manual now so I can try to answer your questions.
If it stalls, you still have to push the clutch and turn the key.
I haven’t seen in the manual about speed shifts but learned of it here on RL (and it works great).
The hooks in back are for securing infant car seats in 911’s with back seats. It must have been more cost effective to just leave them there.
I have white gauges in my current GT3 but did not order them for my Touring.
Your car looks great- enjoy!

What’s the auto blipping you mention at the end?

When button "G" is depressed, the computer will blip the throttle between shifts when downshifting.

So is “speed shifting “ just not taking your foot of the accelerator pedal while depressing the clutch and simultaneously shifting?

Also commonly referred to as, "power shifting" or "no-lift shift". Nowadays, a simple ECU flash on a Honda will grant you the same capability. I grew up practicing it in my 106-hp Civic during The Fast and the Furious era.

Yours can easily be replaced with a different color.

yes it’s no lift upshift and based on clutch sensor not throttle position sensor (very cool). Depress clutch at speed and shift...or rev the car, sounds like an F1 pit speed limiter.
