Not a fire 200 MILES AWAY!?!?!
My thoughts too. I live on westside and am 20-25 miles away from fires and will be driving without a second thought.

Actually that may have been bad info. This afternoon the Malibu Times tweeted that the Rock Store was saved, along with Neptune’s Net, and the Rock Store wiki page no longer says it was destroyed yesterday.

Not even close. This smells like a fire pit inside the home, all windows sealed. There is gray haze within 10 feet. Really crazy

I should check my filters after 3 hours of Thunderhill yesterday, plus the drive back to the Bay last night…

On the bright side, we got some sick track photos from Thursday during apocalyptic conditions!

Dreary. I flew in from out of town today and it was like flying into a fog bank. The whole state is appeared covered in smoke, even the Sierras.

Unfortunately, I only drove 3 laps on Thursday because I was doing the Motorsport Safety Foundation Level 2 certification (instructor training). GotBlueMilk has excellent photos of individual cars here: https://gotbluemilk.smugmug.com/2018/November/181108HOD
